Whatever the outcome at the end of the day, I mean the 2010 World Cup Final, all the 32 participating nations in the finals can be satisfied with one thing - the payout.
Fifa, the governing body of world soccer, has agreed that the prize money for the 2010 World Cup teams will be increased by 60 percent, according to a Xinhua report.
The report says Fifa's executive committee has approved the increase in prize money for the 32 teams in South Africa from 261 million to 420 million US dollars after a meeting on Robben Island, South Africa, yesterday.
The winner will take home 31 million while each of the 32 teams will receive at least 9 million from the first round, according to Fifa secretary general Jerome Valcke.
